Teachers’ Summer Institute at Brandeis University July 9-13, 2012

From Big Ideas to Practice: A Collaborative Workshop for Teachers

How often have you wished for the time and space…

  • To develop a new curricular idea?
  • To spend a week thinking and learning with colleagues?
  • To delve into a question of teaching practice?

Join us for the 2012 Teachers’ Summer Institute and spend a week at Brandeis University, working on your own project while sharing ideas and inspiration with a small group of supportive colleagues and faculty.  The institute will be led by Shira Horowitz, long-time DeLeT mentor and Kehillah Schechter Academy faculty member.

The Institute is designed for teachers at all career stages.  You’ll enjoy the collaboration and thoughtful feedback of colleagues while you work individually and in groups in comfortable, air-conditioned facilities.  This fully-subsidized program is available at no cost to all DeLeT alumni and teachers at DeLeT partner schools.  Participants are eligible for 25 PDPs toward recertification.

For more information, including an application (due May 1st), please email Shira Horowitz at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
